INTERNATIONAL POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH DISCUSSION GROUP PILOT We are piloting research discussion groups for international postdoctoral scholars. Their goal is to promote fluency and accuracy in the scholars’ use of English (both grammar and pronunciation) in their professional communication. Participants will meet weekly to discuss their research in various formats, including short informal discussions, faux lab presentations, poster presentations, etc. Participants will have the opportunity to field questions from their disciplinary colleagues and receive pronunciation feedback from language specialists. Weekly attendance and active participation are required. Because this is a pilot program, participants will have ample input into the design of the group so that it most effectively meets their academic and professional needs. Group meetings are on Fridays at 11am. Register here.
